1) Start With Your Idea

You can come to us with:

• A rough concept (“I want a hat patch with my logo”)

• A photo or sketch

• An existing logo or artwork

• A link to a product style you like

Fastest start: tell us what the item is, approx size, quantity, and deadline.

What to send

• Preferred file types: SVG, AI, PDF, EPS (best)

• Also okay: PNG/JPG (we can redraw if needed)

2) Design & Artwork Setup

We’ll review your artwork and figure out the best path:

Option A — You already have ready-to-run art

• Vector files, clean lines, correct sizing
  ✅ quickest turnaround

Option B — Cleanup / laser-ready conversion

• Simplifying shading, thickening thin lines, fixing gaps
  (Perfect for hat patches, engraving, and cut-out designs)

Option C — Full custom design

• We build the design from scratch based on your description
  (You’ll approve it before we make anything)

Proofing

• You’ll receive a proof/mockup

• We confirm size, placement, and finish

• Nothing runs until you approve

3) Choose Your Material

We’ll help you pick the best material for the job based on:

• Intended use (indoor/outdoor, heat, abrasion)

• Desired look (matte, gloss, metallic, natural)

• Budget + quantity

Common materials

• Acrylic (signs, badges, labels—great colors and clean cuts)

• Wood (rustic signs, coasters, gifts)

• Leather / faux leather (hat patches, patches, tags)

• Metal (fiber-marked tags, plates, tools, tumblers)

• Coated metals (anodized aluminum, powder coat, painted finishes)

• Specialty plastics (UV/IR-friendly items for clean detail)

4) Quote + Timeline

Once we know the design + material + quantity, we’ll send:

• A clear price quote

• Turnaround estimate

• Shipping estimate (if applicable)

Rush work: available when possible—just tell us your deadline up front.

5) Test & Production

Before we run your full order, we often do a quick test pass to confirm:

• Engrave depth/contrast

• Line weight/detail

• Cut quality and edge finish

Then we run production on the correct laser for the material:

• UV / IR for fine, clean marking on plastics and coated items

• Diode for wood/leather projects and patch-style engraving

• CO₂ for fast cutting/engraving on acrylic, wood, leather

• Fiber for permanent metal marking + deep engraving

6) Quality Check + Finishing

Every order goes through a final check for:

• Clean edges and consistent engraving

• Alignment and sizing

• Cosmetic quality

Optional finishing (depending on project):

• Masking, cleaning, edge polish

• Paint fill (when requested)

• Assembly (standoffs, mounting holes, adhesive backing)

7) Pickup or Shipping

Local pickup: available (when scheduled)
Shipping: carefully packaged to protect surfaces and edges.
